BOROUGH SNOW PLAN

When it starts snowing,

    MOVE ALL CARS OFF WATER STREET.   Do not park on Water Street until the storm is over and the plows have cleared it.

    KEEP ONE SIDE OF MAIN ST AND ONE SIDE OF ELM ST CLEAR OF CARS.   On even days of the month, park on the even side of the street; on odd days, park on the odd side, according to addresses.

Once the storm is over,
    MOVE CARS OFF THE SIDE STREETS so they can be plowed. Feel free to leave a message at the Borough Garage at 535-2127 to let Susan know when a side street is clear of cars.

    CLEAR A PATH ON SIDEWALKS within 12 hours, and please try to find a safe place to put the sidewalk snow - don't throw it into the street.

Thank you for your cooperation in a process to keep the Borough as accessible as possible through the winter.
